Policies

1. Booking & Deposit Policy A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and time. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the event date. If the balance is not paid in full by the due date, The Mix Maven reserves the right to cancel the booking, and the deposit will be forfeited. Booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit and signed agreement (if applicable).

2. Deposit Transfer Policy Deposits are transferable once within 90 days of the original event date. Rescheduled events must be confirmed in writing and are subject to availability. If the rescheduled event is not held within 90 days, the deposit is forfeited, and a new booking will require a new deposit. A transfer request must be submitted at least 10 days before the original event date.

3. Cancellation Policy If the client cancels 30 or more days before the event date, only the deposit will be forfeited. If the client cancels less than 30 days before the event, 75% of the total payment is due. If the client cancels less than 14 days before the event, 100% of the total payment is due. If The Mix Maven; Markayla cancels for unforeseen circumstances, the client will be given the option of a full refund or reschedule at no additional cost.

4. Service & Liability Policy The Mix Maven provides bartending services only and does not supply alcohol unless otherwise specified in the agreement. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all alcohol is legally obtained and consumed by guests of legal drinking age. The Mix Maven staff reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated, underage, or behaves inappropriately. The Mix Maven is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or liabilities caused by alcohol consumption at the event. The client is responsible for providing a safe and suitable setup location for bartending services.

5. Additional Fees Travel Fee: Events beyond 18 miles from area 43209 will incur an additional $2 per mile travel fee. Late Payment Fee: A late payment fee of $25 per day will be charged for payments not received by the due date. Extended Service Fee: If the event runs longer than the agreed time, an additional hourly rate of $50/hr will apply. Damaged/Lost Equipment Fee: Clients are responsible for any damage or loss of The Mix Maven's equipment and supplies during the event.

6. Do you offer returns or refunds for products? Yes. Private-labeled merchandise can be returned within 14 days of delivery, as long as items are unused and in original packaging. Returns are not accepted for digital or custom services.

1.Do you carry insurance? Yes! The Mix Maven is fully insured to protect you and your guests during service.

2. Are gratuities included? Gratuities are not automatically included but are always appreciated. You're welcome to tip your bartender in cash or via your preferred method.
